Non-profit Organisations
Hyperlink works closely with non-profit organisations through our Activelink Web site, 'The Online Resource for Irish Non-Profit Organisations' and our mailing list, Community Exchange, which both provide free services to the non-profit sector in Ireland. Both of these resources are supported financially by Hyperlink, with additional help from sponsors, and occasional donations from the organisations that make use of its facilities. It has never been, and will never be, necessary for NPOs to have to pay to use these facilities.
If you are an NPO or work with an NPO that avails of the services offered by Activelink or Community Exchange, you can help Hyperlink to continue providing these facilities by using us to provide IT support and services to your organisation. Additionally, Hyperlink discounts its services and product range to NPOs, so it benefits your organisation in two different ways!
NPOs can take advantage of generous discounts provided by many software vendors (subject to qualification), which are generally the same as those available to the educational sector. If your NPO has a CHY number from the Revenue Commissioners in Ireland then we can also arrange for you to have your .IE domain name provided free of charge (this is also thanks to the IE Domain Registry) - we charge a nominal one-off fee for the initial setup, and the domain name is then free in perpetuity.
